Chevrolet India is going to introduce the new version of their C segment sedan Sail in India soon. The new Sail which is powered by a 1399 cc, 4 cylinder petrol engine is going to arrive India by middle of 2011. The Sail is slightly bigger than its sibling Aveo and has got better mileage and bold look. This gorgeous Sedan which has got a maximum power of 94 Bhp and maximum torque of 129 Nm is not much pricey compared to Aveo. The new Sail costs around 7 lakh rupees. So, the Sail is less on price and high on features. All most all other c segment sedans has a price more than the Sail, so it will be more easy for the GM people to find market for their upcoming sedan in India.
The new Sail will be mainly competing with Tata Indigo Manza, Ford Ikon, Mahindra Logan and Suzuki Swift Dzire. Besides high power and great look, features of Sail include power steering, body colour bumpers, Alloys, tachometer, tripmeter, rear seat belts and Fog lamp. So Sail will sure become a better choice for families which requires a C segment sedan.
